We are now looking at developing a new walking tour to include Namibia, probably best known for the Namib Desert, with its towering red and ochre dunes and futher to the south the flowers of Namaqualand.

Steve Mackay has led several groups in Namibia and we have set ourselves the challenge of organising a group to see one of the great natural wonders of the world.

The spring flowers emerge in force from July through to September but there are no guarantees as to when they will peak, although late August is a good bet.

The mass of flowers which stretch as far as the eye can see is one of the greatest shows on earth.

This incredible display varies from year to year depending on the winter rains.
